Kru Yai Christopher “The Professor” Williams is the owner and head coach of Elite Fight Club Canada. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, he turned an early interest in combat sports into a career as a professional Muay Thai fighter, coach and mentor.

His training began with boxing at the YMCA in the Bronx, New York. After moving to Scarborough, he discovered Muay Thai and found the discipline that would shape his career as a fighter, teacher and mentor.

A four-time North American champion, Kru Chris competed in more than 50 professional fights across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Panama and Thailand, where he also lived and trained. He was named Canada’s Best Pro Fighter in 2016, the year he retired from active competition.

Kru Chris earned the title of Kru, meaning teacher, and has coached champions in WKA, TBA, IKF, WKF and MTO competitions. His teaching draws on years of international fighting experience and a commitment to helping each student improve.
