Kru Chris Returns to Muaythai Ontario Officiating at Destiny Fights
It felt great to be back officiating with Muaythai Ontario. I was fortunate to be part of an earlier generation of MTO officials, and stepping back into that role while representing Elite Fight Club means a lot to me.
Giving back to a sport that has given me so much
Muay Thai has been a major part of my life as a fighter, coach, gym owner and official. Each role brings a different responsibility. Coaching means helping people develop. Officiating means contributing to the event and respecting the athletes who have worked to be there.
Being involved beyond the gym keeps that connection to the wider community strong. I am grateful for opportunities to support the sport and the people who continue moving it forward.
Thank you to the Destiny Fights team
A big shoutout to Kru Mikey, Kru Saji and the entire Destiny Fights team for putting on a great show and supporting the Muay Thai community. Events bring together athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters. I appreciate the work that goes into making those opportunities possible.
It was a pleasure to stand alongside fellow officials and represent Elite Fight Club Canada. These moments are a reminder of how many people contribute to the sport outside the training rounds that most of us see.
Bringing that respect back to our students
At our Scarborough gym, welcoming students from Markham and Toronto, I want people to understand Muay Thai as both a practice and a community. Learning technique is part of it. So is listening, showing respect and recognising the effort of the people around you.
Whether you join us to learn the fundamentals, build your fitness or work toward competition, those values remain part of the training. I look forward to continuing to teach, learn and contribute to Muay Thai in Ontario.
Thank you to everyone who keeps supporting Elite Fight Club and the wider Muay Thai community.
